Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field and 10 years of job related experience or equivalent. Two (2) years of experience in a business or related field may be substituted for each of the four (4) years of college.
- Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required.
- Expert knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications are required (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Some travel is required, likely 2-4 trips a year for a few days each.
- Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain SECRET Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, control and monitor the program to ensure satisfactory completion of program objectives.
- Assist in the planning, control and direction of staff and support personnel for the contracts.
- Directly support the PEOs and Project Offices with defining requirements for upcoming project support.
- Provide administrative and technical leadership in the completion of multiple contracts, including responsibility for cost, schedule and overall performance.
- Plan and procure necessary staffing to achieve work completion milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor fulfillment of contract requirements to ensure quality and timeliness of services/deliverables to various customers.
- Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership to and review the work of assigned staff and/or contracts.
- Interface with customers on a regular basis for support of engineering and program management activities.
- Monitor customer feedback and advice on a broad range of issues related to products/services being delivered.
- Participate in business development including identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies and managing proposal development. Support Business Development and Capture Managers in their pursuit of strategic growth initiatives.
- Coordinates and supports, Army, PEO and local community outreach activities (ex. AUSA, ROTC) to support our customers and increase company brand recognition.
- Perform multi-disciplinary analysis of system designs to determine compliance with specifications and standards.
- Direct the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.
- Serve as a point-of-contact for all matters relating to the assigned contract for representative between government personnel and Amentum management team.
- Provide management guidance and control for the efficient utilization of human resources assignment, performance, morale and overall welfare.
- Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
Preferred Qualifications
- Program Management Institute (PMI) certification (desired)
- Previous management of IAC MAC contracts, including the associated deliverables (STI, Monthly Status Reports, PMP, and PMRs).
- Experience within PEO CS&CSS and PEO GCS in some capacity (direct government, contractor, active-duty military, etc.).
- Positive relationships with key government stakeholders and an understanding of where program offices are in the acquisition lifecycle (including their technical support needs) will set you apart.
- Master’s degree or coursework in specialized management.
