Requirements
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing automation, test and product sustainment
- Familiarity with Python, Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW
- Experience working on projects that involve the integration of electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems
- Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and scale automated manufacturing and test equipment. Provide hands on troubleshooting and resolve complex issues across mechanical, electrical, and software domains
- Determine assembly and test strategies that optimize product safety, product reliability, risk mitigation, FMEA coverage, and schedule
- Improve and sustain existing test systems to improve automation, consistency, total cycle time, and test coverage
- Generate MES work instructions and user interfaces that can be easily followed by technician team. Train technicians on equipment use as required
- Contribute feedback to early-stage design for manufacturing and test processes supporting early-stage products (NPI). Collaborate with design engineers to provide feedback and recommendations for product enhancements based on outcomes
- Analyze data, document results, and provide detailed reports to identify defects and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, production, design engineering, and software engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced graduate degrees (Masters or PhD)
- Experience using and testing radar or other RF sensors and related electronics
- Experience with ESS-related testing (Thermal, Vibration, etc.)
- Experience in the testing of PCBA/electronic assemblies. Thorough knowledge of PCBA testing standards and methods
- Experience with computer hardware communication protocols: USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, etc.
