Requirements
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, OSHA standards, and industry regulations related to CO2 extraction and plant-based production.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure while ensuring quality and safety are maintained.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate a team of CO2 extraction technicians and other production staff.
- Oversee the operation of CO2 extraction systems to ensure proper extraction of oils, concentrates, and other products from plant material.
- Manage daily production schedules, ensuring that production goals, yields, and deadlines are met.
- Ensure all extraction equipment is maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.
- Ensure that all products meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Enforce all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Maintain accurate production logs, equipment maintenance records, and shift reports.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments (such as Quality Control, R&D, and Laboratory) to ensure that the production process aligns with overall company goals and product specifications.
- Oversee inventory levels of raw materials (plant material, CO2, solvents, etc.) and ensure sufficient supplies for production runs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience with supercritical CO2 extraction or botanical material processing is highly desirable.
