Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- A minimum of five years of experience working in a supervisory role in production, QC, or maintenance is required
- Three years as a plant engineer is required
Responsibilities
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures
- Perform and promote the use of 5-Why program for root cause problem solving
- Oversee the administration of the Safety Program for production personnel
- Recommend alterations and redesign of equipment through use of root-cause analysis
- Direct, supervise, and develop shift supervisors to meet or exceed goals and objectives
- Direct, supervise, and develop the personnel within their responsibility with regard to the quality of the product
- Attend Production Meetings as required
- Responsible for the total housekeeping of plant during the work shift
- Complete Task Safety Observations and safety audits
- On call 24/7
- Any other duties assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a compounds manufacturing facility is preferred
