Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field experience in Operations.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of industry safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage detailed production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products.
  • Balance production capacity with forecasted and actual demand to prevent overproduction or stock shortages.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to align schedules with material availability and workforce capacity.
  • Adjust production plans dynamically in response to unforeseen changes such as equipment breakdowns, material shortages, or shifts in customer demand.
  • Work closely with manufacturing supervisors to ensure smooth execution of planned schedules.
  • Ensure the availability of raw materials and components required for production.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Track finished goods inventory and coordinate with warehousing teams for proper storage and distribution.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to maximize production efficiency.
  • Plan machine usage and downtime to optimize production flow.
  • Identify potential resource shortages and implement proactive solutions.
  • Oversee daily production processes to ensure alignment with planned schedules.
  • Track production progress and adjust plans as necessary to address delays or inefficiencies.
  • Ensure product quality meets established standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate reports on production performance, inventory levels, and resource utilization.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead time, machine uptime, and production costs.
  • Forecast future production needs based on market trends, historical data, and customer orders.
  • Assess future capacity requirements and recommend equipment upgrades or expansions as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (preferred).
