Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of Production Management experience.
  • College degree required.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Detailed, concise and effective communication and record-keeping.
  • Ability to effectively lead a team and implement workflow and process.
  • Familiarity of contracting, negotiating, scheduling, and managing vendors and crews.
  • Familiarity with permitting, international travel and production requirements.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, scouting, obtaining releases, purchase orders, call sheets, booking freelance production crews and equipment, coordinating travel, permitting, scheduling, handling insurance requirements, production and post-production scheduling, reconciling financials, and cost reporting is required.
  • Skilled in compliance with contractual obligations, permitting, labor laws, international visa & carnet requirements, safety, and insurance needs.
  • Must be computer savvy with skills in G-Suite by Google Cloud and various budgeting, cost reporting, financial, and project management software.
  • Familiarity with Camera Equipment, Lighting, Audio, and Post Production Equipment and needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the contact for coordinating crew, equipment, travel logistics (domestic and internationally), on-site production needs, budgets, permits, contracts, releases, insurance, post-production, scheduling, and various other production requirements.
  • Working with various teams and departments to ensure content is produced efficiently and delivered within budget parameters, following established policies and procedures, meeting publishing deadlines, and satisfying creative expectations.
  • Provide direction on production process and ensure business requirements are met in a timely manner across all departments involving Production Management, Business Affairs, Programming, Marketing, Sales, Strategy, and Accounting.
  • Determine and manage content production budgets, deliverable timelines, and the coordination and logistics for execution.
  • Oversee a strong rolodex of freelance crews both domestically and internationally.
  • Manage, keep track, and report on all aspects of production from development to delivery.
  • Provide administrative and internal process support to assigned production activities.
