Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related major and a minimum of three years’ relevant experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Ability to effectively manage travel time spent at dealerships, tradeshows, and customer visits; training material completion deadlines and new product launches.
- Ability to be customer oriented and have a can-do attitude to provide effective training and product support.
- Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills including effectively serving as the frontline of communication between Vermeer and the dealer sales network.
Responsibilities
- Perform product demonstrations domestically and internationally.
- Develop and present sales, operational and competitive product information to domestic and international sales managers, dealers, and customers in the promotion of product line. Support wholesale and retail sales efforts through answering of operational, pricing, availability, technical, and application questions.
- Represent Vermeer at trade shows and seminars. Answer questions regarding Vermeer products and demonstrates product as necessary.
- Train dealers and customers, domestically and internationally, on product operations, applications and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
- The ability to operate machines and translate their knowledge to customers and dealers is preferred.
