Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience with Cloud compute platforms like Kubernetes, Cloud Functions.
Responsibilities
- Craft the product goal and strategy for key solutions and narratives to meet the needs of Google Kubernetes Engines (GKE’s) customers and the platform itself.
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of your products.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, UXR/UXD, Customer Engineers, Solutions Architects, Developer Relations, and other teams to ensure a compelling product experience and successful positioning of GKE with customers.
- Be an advocate for customers, identify key drivers to customer success and ensure Google Cloud’s products and services are fully leveraged to meet their needs.
- Collaborate closely with internal partners to execute the product goal and strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a technology or business related field.
- 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
- 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
- 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
- 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
- 1 year of experience in technical leadership.
