Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management or a closely related discipline.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 35%, both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery and performance of the Hold Baggage product line, ensuring alignment with the SES product roadmap and business goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams—including engineering, program management, sales, business development, production, and QA—to drive strategic initiatives and product success.
  • Develop and maintain Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs) including business cases and technical specifications for new products and features.
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to support business cases and inform product direction.
  • Drive product strategies by developing and executing comprehensive roadmaps that reflect market trends, customer needs, and business priorities.
  • Manage 3rd party partnerships in alignment with SES strategy.
  • Lead voice-of-customer engagements to inform product development and ensure market relevance.
  • Define product and service value propositions and develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Oversee product development programs—including internally funded and CRAD projects—to ensure timely, quality delivery that meets customer requirements.
  • Manage sustaining efforts and drive initiatives to improve product margins and lifecycle performance.
  • Lead certification and qualification processes for all product offerings.
  • Create product collateral and provide training and support to the sales organization.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on precision execution, accountability, and innovation.
  • Champion continuous improvement in technical and process capabilities across the portfolio.

  • Experience in the security and detection market is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and sustain relationships across all levels—internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners.
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership and customer executives.
  • Team-oriented with strong leadership and collaboration abilities.
