Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience in the risk/fraud and anti-abuse or payments domain.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, User Experience (UX), and other teams on innovative technologies.
- Partner closely with engineering to define future goal, strategy, and roadmap for Google Play’s business generation platform with an eye toward building for the future.
- Work directly with both internal and external Android Developers to understand business models and incorporate platform gaps into product strategy.
- Develop an understanding of Play’s business generation platform constructs (e.g., orders, refunds, etc.), billing APIs/libraries, and payments integrations.
- Partner with the Analytics and Data Science teams to design metrics and Machine Learning (ML) purposes, including a principled approach to trade-offs across key metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
- 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
- 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with managing mobile technology and payments.
- Experience working with Data Scientists.
