Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (chemistry, biochemistry, or related discipline).
- Proven experience (7+ years) in product management, preferably in analytical instrumentation or scientific equipment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance technical expertise with business acumen.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision for our GC product line.
- Define short-term and long-term product strategies to drive growth and market share.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, sales, and customer support) to create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and new product launches based on customer needs, market demand, and business goals.
- Conduct market research to understand customer pain points, needs, and preferences related to GC products.
- Collect and analyze data from customer feedback, surveys, and market trends.
- Translate insights into actionable product improvements and innovations.
- Work closely with R&D teams to define product requirements, specifications, and performance metrics.
- Guide product development efforts, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Monitor project progress, address roadblocks, and adjust priorities as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create effective go-to-market plans.
- Develop pricing strategies, product positioning, and messaging.
- Support product launches, training, and promotional activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong track record in product management in a scientific company.
- Gas Chromatography experience preferred but not required.
