Requirements
- Strong written skills to produce documentation, links to writing samples highly encouraged
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and data based decision making
- Be comfortable learning technical domain knowledge
- Strong understanding of the product life cycle and where product drives decisions
- Experience collaborating with engineering to make product decisions connecting feasibility with customer value
- Comfortable leading discussions and presenting to leadership
- Synthesize and connect incremental customer improvements into larger coherent product growth strategies
Responsibilities
- Research, qualify and build a data based perspective on product opportunities
- Stay up to date on customer data around pain points, feature gaps and requests from our support teams and customer facing representatives
- Engage with the broader strategy of the Email and Messaging product team and their OKRs, and propose roadmap items and product opportunities that align with the broader strategy
- Partner with UX Research to do in depth customer research and discovery work to understand customer pain points and do root cause analysis
- Work with customer and financial data to build opportunity sizing and ROI for proposed features
- Partner with engineering and design to build product requirements and shape product delivery
- Clearly communicate and produce documentation around product requirements and product strategy
- Partner with Product Marketing, Technical Program Managers, Customer Support and GTM to design strategic product release plans that will drive successful rollout and adoption of your product work
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience shipping products with a user interface component with some basic understanding of design and UX best practices
- Experience partnering with product marketing or marketing
- Relative comfort with csv/excel/google sheets for basic financial calculations
