Requirements
- Deep knowledge of molecular biology or DNA sequencing
- Extensive experience with molecular biology techniques such as plasmid design, cloning, PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and library preparation
- A long list of products or services you’ve built that customers have loved
- A record of prioritizing creating customer value above all else
- Proven experience influencing cross-functional teams, and working effectively with customers, R&D, and sales teams
- Experience building product roadmaps and product life cycle management
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to overcome challenges
- Degree in molecular biology, genetics or associated scientific field required
- Outstanding leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Leading the commercial development of new sequencing service offerings
- Conducting market assessments, competitive landscape analyses, customer interviews, and product positioning studies
- Analyzing key market trends, unmet needs, and potential disruptors in the sequencing world
- Working closely with R&D to align commercial strategy, turning technology into products that provide value to our customers
- Working with product marketing to ensure our Revenue team understands the value we are providing and has the assets they need to be successful
