Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years in Aerospace, preferably in product management roles.
- Experience with aviation grade certified products.
- Software development knowledge to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Strong ability to write and refine user stories, ensuring the right story count and scope for software teams.
- Experience with JIRA for backlog management, tracking deployment status, and sprint planning.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess technical feasibility and propose practical solutions.
- Understanding of API integrations, and modern software deployment strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to align cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth product integration and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assist in product deployments and integrations, troubleshooting issues under senior guidance.
- Gather and document user feedback, ensuring it’s communicated effectively to the engineering team working with Product Managers on alignment to Product Requirement Documents.
- Own JIRA updates by tracking deployment status, issues, feedback, and release progress in line with Product Release Plan.
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and helping document solutions, offering new solutions to gaps.
- Support international engagements and deployments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and certification requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Program) to support deployment goals.
- Facilitate alignment with product development teams.
- Work with the Senior Product Integration Manager and the engineering team to ensure customer integration priorities are addressed.
- Ability to conduct research on Advanced Air Mobility trends, emerging technologies and regulatory developments and present research findings and propose forward-thinking strategies to enhance product integration.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence is required, with the ability to effectively manage workflows, track progress, and collaborate on documentation within an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe) is a plus.
- Additional certifications in cloud computing (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Engineer) or software engineering (CSM, PMP) are beneficial.
- Experience working in a highly technical, aerospace-related industry.
- Experience working with Agile software development teams, ensuring product requirements align with engineering implementation.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and API integrations to support technical deployments.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence for backlog management, sprint planning, and documentation.
