Requirements
- Knowledgeable about design patterns & strong intuition for UI / UX flows
- Experience with cloud-based software development across the whole stack
- Expertise in Python and TypeScript / JavaScript (2+ years)
- Familiar with the quirks and qualities of CSS
- Have a voracious and intrinsic desire to learn and fill in missing skills
- Thrive in a customer-focused, tight-knit and cross-functional environment
Responsibilities
- Design for delight: Develop sleek and intuitive user interfaces for Wispr Flow’s evolving technologies & products
- Ship features end-to-end: Scope and lead technical projects from conception to deployment
- Own the product vision: Define and drive the product strategy across web and desktop, ensuring excellence in performance and usability
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with the founders and designers to push the boundaries of what’s possible
- Build for scale: Architect fast, reliable, and scalable back-end systems that handle massive audiences effortlessly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in any of the following will make you stand out: Electron, Redux, Webpack, NextJS, Figma, AWS, FastAPI, CI/CD pipelines, ML deployments, async programming, low-level systems
