Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field and 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupation. Foreign equivalent accepted
- Requires 12 months of experience involving the following:
- 1. Building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features or products across a variety of platforms
- 2. Interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people’s needs
- 3. Prototyping
- 4. Visual design, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography
- 5. Understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users
- 6. Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts
- 7. Defining product specifications and user experiences
- 8. Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing
- 9. Conducting end to end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes
Responsibilities
- Design digital user interfaces, create graphics, and design new experiences or layouts that evolve and/or define visual systems for web-based applications and technologies with a focus on aesthetics and design.
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for supported platforms.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee user experience of a product from conception to launch.
- Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality.
- Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors.
