Product Design Engineer

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
Three years of work experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation
Three years of experience in 3D and 2D CAD (NX, SolidWorks, or Creo)
Three years of experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Three years of experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
Three years of experience in Design for Assembly (DFA)
Three years of experience in designing prototypes, utilizing a variety of manufacturing techniques including 3D printing, CNC machining, and casting
Three years of experience in Statistical Tolerance Analysis
Three years of experience in material properties such as plastics, metals, or adhesives
Three years of experience in design for high volume manufacturing techniques such as injection molding, stamping, extruding, or die-casting
Three years of experience in design of products requiring cosmetic surface treatments and interfacing with Industrial Design teams
Three years of experience in working with complex electromechanical assemblies.

Develop systems for VR, AR, or new technology initiatives, from early prototyping through mass-production.
Work as part of a cross-functional team for collaboration beyond mechanical engineering.
Use mechanical engineering fundamentals, prototyping skills, CAD fluency, manufacturing process knowledge, and experience designing consumer electronics to contribute to mechanical solutions.
Model, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems, and work through the full product development cycle from concept inception to shipping.
Collaborate and manage work with global supply chains and distributed engineering teams.
Utilize state of the art technologies and approaches to solve complex mechanical problems while working with cross-functional technical teams.
