Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Finance
- Experience with understanding of end-to-end source-to-pay process
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience in communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, collaborators and clients, at different levels
- Analytical and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Experience with successfully navigating a fast paced environment and ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Using in-depth subject-matter knowledge to lead the teams budget, procurement policies, processes, and best practices
- Work closely with research and engineering stakeholders to understand their needs and goals, and build relationships to support the organization’s objectives
- Understand the full Source to Pay cycle (Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, AP) to quickly identify bottlenecks, problems, and drive issues to resolution
- Research, analyze, coordinate, and respond to incoming inquiries regarding status of purchase orders, invoices, and payments
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the buying process
- Provide clear, concise, step-by-step instructions to internal stakeholders and external suppliers on using procurement tools and interacting with processing teams
- Analyze data to identify stakeholder pain-points, exceptions, feedback, and opportunities for improvement in existing processes
- Assist in the research and analysis of audit issues raised by external and internal audit
- Collaborate with S&O, Finance, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Master Team, Enterprise Products (EP) teams
- Requirements gathering for process and system improvements
- Solutioning and design of new processes and systems
- Change management planning and implementation
- Manage escalations from stakeholders, including investigating and resolving issues, and communicating resolutions to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance, or management preferred
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and finance tooling
- Experience with Procurement system/software
