Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Finance
  • Experience with understanding of end-to-end source-to-pay process
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience in communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, collaborators and clients, at different levels
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with successfully navigating a fast paced environment and ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Using in-depth subject-matter knowledge to lead the teams budget, procurement policies, processes, and best practices
  • Work closely with research and engineering stakeholders to understand their needs and goals, and build relationships to support the organization’s objectives
  • Understand the full Source to Pay cycle (Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, AP) to quickly identify bottlenecks, problems, and drive issues to resolution
  • Research, analyze, coordinate, and respond to incoming inquiries regarding status of purchase orders, invoices, and payments
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the buying process
  • Provide clear, concise, step-by-step instructions to internal stakeholders and external suppliers on using procurement tools and interacting with processing teams
  • Analyze data to identify stakeholder pain-points, exceptions, feedback, and opportunities for improvement in existing processes
  • Assist in the research and analysis of audit issues raised by external and internal audit
  • Collaborate with S&O, Finance, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Master Team, Enterprise Products (EP) teams
  • Requirements gathering for process and system improvements
  • Solutioning and design of new processes and systems
  • Change management planning and implementation
  • Manage escalations from stakeholders, including investigating and resolving issues, and communicating resolutions to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance, or management preferred
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and finance tooling
  • Experience with Procurement system/software
