Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Minimum 5 years procurement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and issuance of Request for Quotations/Proposals
  • Perform price and cost analysis and lead formal negotiations, Price, delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions.
  • Place subcontracts/purchase orders and associated change orders.
  • Issue and conflict resolution of medium/high complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various subcontract types (Cost Types, Firm Fixed price, Time & Materials).
  • Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc.) to achieve objectives.
  • Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors.
  • Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for gate reviews.
  • Travel domestically as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience procuring electrical commodities – cables, Hybrid, ASICs MMIC chips.
  • Experience Analyzing Cost and Pricing Data and determining proposal compliance.
  • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review.
  • SAP experience.
  • Experience executing competitive and single source procurements.
