Requirements
- MS/MPH in industrial hygiene, environmental science, or a related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience. A BS degree with appropriate experience will also be considered.
- CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification is preferred.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and organize work efficiently.
- Experience with hazard recognition and familiarity with control methodologies.
- Understanding of industrial hygiene principles and monitoring techniques.
- Ability to interpret and apply corporate guidelines and regulatory requirements, with openness to consulting subject matter experts when needed.
Responsibilities
- Guide the development and implementation of Site PSM goals and deliverables in alignment with corporate and regulatory expectations.
- Ensure site operations align with local regulations and reflect our organizational values related to EHS and PSM.
- Support and manage the Site PSM team, including mentoring and professional development.
- Participate actively in the Global EHS & PSM team and contribute to continuous safety improvements at the site.
- Coordinate the Site PSM program and related audits.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable PSM regulations and corporate reporting requirements.
- Prepare, submit, and monitor regulatory permits and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Assess the PSM impact of new site programs, initiatives, and process changes.
- Participate in project teams and promote EHS & PSM awareness across all employees, with a focus on inclusive onboarding and ongoing education.
Preferred Qualifications
- CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification is preferred.
