Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination

- Knowledge of venue operations, vendor networks, and current event trends
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to determine event objectives, preferences, and budgets
- Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets
- Source, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors including caterers, decorators, entertainment, and rental companies
- Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, catering, entertainment, and technical requirements
- Oversee event setup and breakdown to ensure adherence to client specifications and safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process and on the event day
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during events promptly
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
- Maintain organized records of all event details, contracts, and communications
- Assist in marketing and promotional activities to attract new clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or related field
- Experience with event management software
- Strong negotiation skills
