Principle Specialist – Operations Material Planner Analyst

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Experience manufacturing and material planning
Familiar with SAP or other MRP systems/Solumina

Strong analytical skills required for accurate material and manufacturing planning methodologies, use of leading/lagging metrics in the monitoring of progress against plan and evaluation of root cause and implementation of corrective actions in support of a continuous improvement culture
Strategic planning of manpower and material to support factory level loading and tactical planning on a daily basis to maximize labor and equipment utilization
Daily interface with Customer, Program, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering organizations to ensure customer committed hardware and data deliveries are consistently tracked and achieved
Requires a candidate with strong leadership skills and the ability to convey effective direction using strong written and verbal skills.

Prior experience in an Operations organization or interfacing with Operations organization on a recurring basis
Verbal and written communication skills and be a self-starter able to operate independently with no oversight
Drive Continuous Improvement projects – CORE, 6 Sigma and other Lean Manufacturing processes
Strong computer skills specifically in using MS Project, and MS Office products is highly desired
Requires interfacing with Business Development in strategic business capture supporting new program introduction and supply base definition
Focus/ability to set priories and work independently
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Adaptability to change in a quickly fast moving environment
