Principal Web-Development Architect

Minimum of 10 years of experience in application architecture and software development
In-depth knowledge of front-end Javascript frameworks like React, mobile app frameworks and application services like Salesforce Health Cloud
Deep understanding of micro-frontend and backend for frontend design patterns
Proficiency with programming languages like Javascript, Typescript, Swift and Java
Understanding of SSO protocols like OpenID Connect and SAML
In-depth experience as a consumer of Rest and GraphQL APIs
Proficiency with web analytics tools like Google Analytics
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices to ensure consistency, quality and alignment with industry standards across all application development projects at IQVIA
Create and maintain reference architectures that serve as blueprints for various application types
Lead the Web Development Guild and collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, information architects, DevOps and security experts
Serve as the application architecture thought leader and stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in application architecture
Contribute to the design of the Internal Developer Platform (DevIQ) related to application architecture
Develop and maintain application reference architectures and shared libraries that will be included as templates in our internal developer platform
Evaluate and recommend new application framework technologies and tools
Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to assess the viability of new application solutions
Lead and mentor organizations in adopting application architecture best practices and methodologies
Ensure that all application architectures comply with regulatory requirements, security standards and organizational policies.
