Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 15 years professional experience in a marketing role
  • Advanced degree in a technical field such as life sciences, biology, chemistry, engineering is a plus
  • Experience with digital and social media marketing & analytics
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within a matrixed environment
  • A solid understanding of life sciences buyers, their behavior, and channels of communication

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a creative and modern Marketing Plan and development and tracking of the Marketing Budget
  • Build and develop a global team
  • Contribute to the development and share responsibility for achieving the Life Science Global Business Plan
  • Lead the development and execution of an integrated Life Sciences marketing strategy
  • Develop marketing programs to drive brand awareness and customer mind share
  • Leverage comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer roadmaps, and competitive landscape
  • Provide critical inputs to key product functions
  • Lead the further development of a highly effective MARCOM team
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of solutions marketing and sales enablement initiatives
  • Develop technical and value-based messaging and content
  • Oversee content creation including marketing campaigns, case studies, thought leadership, presentations, web content, advertising, event messaging
  • Promote content through various tactics and measure effectiveness
  • Ensure product launches are properly supported with sales packages, promotions, and activities
  • Oversee the development and execution of materials for the sales organization
  • Work with sales leaders to develop product and application training materials
