Requirements
- 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics; 0 years with PhD (Principal)
- 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics; 4 years with PhD (Sr. Principal)
- Ability to perform data post-processing and performance analysis
- Strong Bash, Python, or Mathematica skills
- Active secret security clearance
- Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
Responsibilities
- Retrieval, post-processing, and analysis of complex air and missile defense data sets
- Develop new algorithms to automate the existing analysis process
- Optimize existing scripts
- Mentor teammates on advanced data processing approaches and techniques
- Create reports or briefing material that clearly explains highly technical data
- Present data to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in battle management and fire control data sets in support of DoD programs.
- Proficient with Linux OS
- Experience using GitHub for software version control and collaboration
- Experience with parallel processing
