Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of experience, or a PhD and 0 years of experience (for Level 3)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 9 years of related experience or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of experience, or a PhD and 4 years of experience (for Level 4)
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining analysis tools in C++, MATLAB and Python
- Proficiency in C++ development in a Linux environment
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python toolchains
- Experience with high fidelity 6DoF simulation for guided missiles
- Experience working with missile guidance and autopilot algorithms
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, implements, verifies and tests algorithms and software and simulation tools to perform guidance, navigation and control of aircraft, spacecraft, submersibles, surface ships, missiles, launch vehicles and upper stages during powered and coast phases of launch, flight, earth orbit, interplanetary cruise and orbital insertion, as well as during staging events
- Perform mission analysis on flight test and tactical systems
- Create and implement 6DoF simulation models to evaluate system performance
