Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of innovative solutions to enhance digital experiences for Walmart Finance associates
- Mentor, develop and guide a dynamic team of engineers from design, coding and implementation standpoint, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Oversee and develop architectural design and have a platform mindset to ensure it meets business needs and technical requirements
- Develop scalable solutions that support the growing demands of the business and its associates
- Ensure seamless integration across consumers and deployment of capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture
