Requirements
- Minimum of 20 years experience in railroad signal design/construction for commuter railroads in North America. Must have experience with cab and wayside signal technology.
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience of at least 5 staff in the railroad signal industry.
- Experience working on complex signal networks and territories.
- Must have strong understanding of standards and regulations required for installations on following type territories: LIRR, Amtrak, NJ Transit and Septa.
- Experience presenting information/assessments to senior personnel.
Responsibilities
- Leads or consults on the execution of advanced solution strategies.
- Provides technical expertise; SME (Subject Matter Expert).
- Works with company leadership and Project Managers to deliver professional technical services and solutions.
- Maximizes customer operational performance by providing resources and technical advice.
- Resolves escalated problems and follows through to closure.
- Establishes professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, operations, quality assurances, management).
- Collaborates and integrates with other team members and disciplines to ensure safe and efficient improvements are completed.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
