Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 1 years of relevant experience (for Principal Engineer)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of relevant experience (for Senior Principal Engineer)
  • Hands on experience with semiconductor fabrication equipment
  • Hands-on experience with Metrology equipment (such as CD SEMs, profilometers, Raman Spectroscopy, ellipsometers, XRD, XRF)
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment for extended periods of time
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC)
  • Acted as a technical lead in prior experiences
  • US Citizenship required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, existing, and developing new in-line metrology recipes and techniques for metrology and characterization tools
  • Writing and maintaining process documentation, including development of new process standards and documentation
  • Partner with vendors and equipment engineers to drive existing and future tools to meet foundry and program needs
  • Supporting statistical process control (SPC), continuous improvement efforts, and the management and dissemination of metrology data
  • Mentoring and training of new and junior engineers on metrology and characterization tools while acting as a designated team lead for the team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in lean manufacturing practices and structured problem-solving methodology
  • Data analysis and visualization (JMP)
  • Formal team leadership or management experience
  • Experience developing technical specifications for equipment procurement
  • Experience utilizing KLA, AMAT equipment
  • Experience coordinating with vendors
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph
