Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years’ industry experience, with at least 8 years in security.
- Strong background in security architecture, design, and operations – preferably in a complex SaaS or eCommerce environment.
- Experience designing and deploying infrastructure as code in a multi-tenant public cloud environment.
- Extensive experience with product, application, infrastructure, network, identity, and cloud security solutions.
- Experience designing and implementing complex multi-disciplinary security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Exemplify security principles and culture
- Lead the development of CDK’s security strategy
- Design and implement technology and processes on CDK’s most critical security projects
- Effectively partner across security, technology, and business teams
- Provide technical leadership to security and technology teams, focusing on technical and engineering excellence
- Develop effective security metrics and use them to drive improvements
- Guide the development and continuous improvement of security standards and guidelines in alignment with risk and compliance requirements
- Drive accurate measurement and reporting of CDK’s compliance with security standards
- Drive adoption of security standards across product, technology, and infrastructure teams
- Guide development of secure architecture practices across security and technology teams – cloud, product, identity, network, infrastructure
- Develop repeatable engineering and automation patterns to enable ‘secure by default’ systems and processes
- Solve the hardest and most complex security and technology problems at CDK global
- Lead the security engineering community to develop a shared pool of good security practices
- Work with CDK Security Operations team to identify and enable detection for advanced/complex scenarios
- Drive good development practices in orchestration and automation of macro response workflows
- Be a force multiplier in rare security incident scenarios.
