Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in upstream marketing, strategic product planning, or R&D within the medical device, diagnostics, or life sciences sectors
  • Or minimum 5 years of experience in upstream marketing, strategic product planning, or R&D within the medical device, diagnostics, or life sciences sectors with an advanced degree
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience in market modeling and opportunity valuation
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage credibly with clinical and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including both domestic and international

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute upstream strategy for the next generation of LINQ ICM solutions. Identify unmet clinical needs, emerging use cases, and evolving customer expectations to inform long-term portfolio direction.
  • Serve as the upstream marketing lead and Core Team member for cross-functional product development initiatives. Partner closely with R&D to align technical innovation with strategic market objectives.
  • Conduct rigorous market research, competitive benchmarking, and global opportunity sizing. Evaluate new indications, geographies, and business models with a data-driven approach.
  • Lead structured Voice of Customer (VoC) initiatives to capture insights from electrophysiologists, cardiologists, healthcare providers, and global key opinion leaders. Translate feedback into product requirements and positioning strategies.
  • Collaborate extensively with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Finance, Quality, and Health Economics teams to support business case development and define value-focused product specifications.
  • Monitor advancements in digital health, remote monitoring, and AI-enabled diagnostics. Identify opportunities to integrate these technologies into the LINQ platform to enhance clinical and operational impact.
  • Develop compelling business cases, market models, and executive-level communications to support investment decisions and organizational alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cardiac rhythm management, electrophysiology, or diagnostic monitoring
  • Demonstrated success in influencing product strategy through structured market analysis and clinical insight
  • Experience collaborating with R&D and cross-functional teams in early-stage product development
  • Background in AI-enabled technologies, digital health solutions, or data-driven product development
  • Expertise in Voice of Customer research, user needs assessment, or clinical workflow analysis
  • Familiarity with global healthcare systems, regulatory considerations, and evidence-generation strategy
  • Prior experience serving as a Core Team or program team member in a matrixed product development organization
