Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications
  • 10+ years of experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency)

Responsibilities

  • Lead Platform Design Strategy: Define and champion a long-term vision that enables self-serve, AI-powered workflows through cohesive platform and system design.
  • Drive 0→1 Product Design: Lead early-stage, ambiguous problem spaces by framing opportunities, defining foundational systems, and shaping first iterations of new experiences.
  • Build for Scale: Create extensible, modular design frameworks that support the evolving needs of multiple lines of business, personas, and use cases.
  • Align and Influence: Collaborate across design, product, engineering, research, and data science to ensure alignment, consistency, and clarity across platforms.
  • Mentor and Elevate: Guide other designers in system thinking and platform design, and contribute to a culture of craft excellence and user advocacy.

  • Proven ability to define and drive a bold platform design strategy that supports scalable, self-serve, and AI-driven experiences across complex systems
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in platform and system design, shaping cross-functional vision and elevating design quality across multiple product areas
  • Strong track record of influencing product direction and aligning stakeholders across functions and business lines to deliver unified, strategic outcomes
  • Exceptional ability to lead 0→1 product design efforts in ambiguous spaces—identifying patterns, reframing problems, and building clarity from complexity
  • Demonstrated mastery in visual and systems-level communication—crafting compelling narratives that guide teams and inspire executive stakeholders
  • Strong experience presenting and advocating for design decisions at the executive level, influencing organizational priorities and roadmaps through user-centered thinking
