Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar Engineering discipline
- 8 years of experience in mechanical design and/or production support
- Project Management experience as technical leader of small engineer teams
- Experience with 3D CAD tools (modeling and drawing)
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ANSI Y14.5
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Must be willing to travel to suppliers and government facilities
- Provide technical guidance as the Engineering representative for the Sustainment Execution Leadership Team
- Provide support of recertification activities at Raytheon Redstone Missile Integration Facility (RRMIF) as needed on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville Alabama
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineers, Production Test Engineers, Engineering IPT Leads, and REAs responsible for the product
- Interface directly with the customer as a technical representative
- Provide risk assessment of technical issues to OCE
- Monitor and coordinate changes to the hardware/software configuration
- Coordinate or facilitate configuration change management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Project) Experience
- Mechanical aptitude to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Strong technical background with high technical aptitude
- Proficient in Creo (modeling and drawing) and Windchill (PDM)
- Active DoD issued security clearance.
