Requirements
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in one or more of those areas: Production Planning, Scheduling, Production Control, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Project Management.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Front-End Planning, Demand Planning, and Procurement functions to ensure that materials are available for production while maintaining the integrity of the MRP plan.
- Be part of a collaborative team to assure material is replenished according to that MRP Plan and that the plan reflects operational reality and program’s material strategies.
- Provide the factory and our suppliers with an executable schedule that achieves on-time delivery to our customer, the warfighter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP or equivalent system).
- APICS CSCP or equivalent preferred
- Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Skype, and Teams)
- Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, works well with teammates and customers, and has a results-based mindset and proven track record of success
- Knowledge of working across business areas and interface at all levels of organization
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplines
- Ability to analyze, prioritize, think creatively, is well-organized and works well under pressure
