Principal Lab Operations Cyber Systems Engineer

Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM)
Minimum of 5 years of Cyber and/or System Administration experience or of 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM) or 0 years with a PhD in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM)
Current DoD 8570 Level 2 Certification, such as Security+ CE
Systems Administration experience, to include Windows, Linux, and VM environments
Cybersecurity/Information Assurance experience
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Must be willing to work various shifts depending on the business needs: 4×10 schedule (Mon-Thurs) 1st shift; 4×10 (Mon-Thurs) 2nd shift; 3×10 schedule (Fri, Sa, Su) 2nd shift; 3×10 schedule (Fri, Sa, Su) 1st shift

Maintain availability of Test Station, Software Development Environment, and Simulators
Ensure systems adhere to program configuration and data management plans
Ensure adherence to Cyber Operations Policy and Procedures
Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and support certification and accreditation of systems
Periodically conduct a complete review of system audits and monitor corrective actions

Understanding of enterprise-level computing platforms involving virtualization, distribution and high availability
Experience implementing storage allocation, reclamation, replication and migration
Experience operating and configuring security relevant tools such as Splunk and Nessus
