Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience.
- Experience in systems integration and deployment.
- Experience in automation tools, specifically Chef.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving software system execution problems.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Participates in a complex program, which includes establishing methods and techniques, planning and writing integration procedures/sequences and reports, and conducting tests utilizing comprehensive knowledge of these complex subsystems.
- Involved with test automation and deployment of software, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across various platforms.
- Utilizes a broad knowledge of precedents in integration engineering and applies an understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test validity and integrity.
- Perform systems integration and deployment tasks for various projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced software issues.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Chef.
- Utilize Ansible for configuration management and deployment tasks.
- Write and maintain code in Python and Ruby to automate workflows.
- Deploy software efficiently and effectively across different environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Document processes and provide technical support as needed.
- Work in an Agile program environment.
- Work in a classified lab on site at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment.
- Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations).
- Experience with Ansible, Python, and Ruby.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Experience in Test Automation.
- Experience with Raytheon Eclipse or Raytheon Equinox.
- Experience with Linux operating system.
- 6 years’ experience with a Master’s degree in STEM.
