Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • 8 years of SME in respective areas
  • 4 years supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint software
  • Valid Registered Pharmacist license in any state of the US

Responsibilities

  • Supports formulary product placement considerations through financial spend/utilization/rebate models
  • Contributes to the development of the strategic vision for corporate formulary management
  • Collaborates with internal and external trade relations, finance, underwriting, client services, business, IT, and formulary management teams
  • Provides clinical and rebate consultative services related to drug market trends
  • Develops and maintains content related to clinical, market, and financial strategic initiatives
  • Prepares and generates client materials and presents to client review committees
  • Identifies, develops, negotiating rebate contract opportunities
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for highly influential accounts in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Supports PHG’s and downstream client’s clinical products and services
  • Accountable for the oversight of PHG’s rebate vendor(s)
  • Manages the oversight of PHG rebate vendor operations team
  • Responsible for the maintenance, accuracy and timely submission of all documentation needed for PHG rebate vendor billing
  • Performs other duties as assigned
