Requirements
- 7+ years of implementation or functional experience in Workday Financial Management.
- 7+ years of consulting experience
- Experience (7+ years) with General Ledger along with one or more of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expense Management, Cash Management, and Grants Management.
- 9+ years of implementation or functional experience in Workday Financial Management (for Sr Principal role).
- 9+ years of consulting experience (for Sr Principal role).
- Experience (9+ years) with General Ledger along with one or more of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expense Management, Cash Management, and Grants Management (for Sr Principal role).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience – preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- 9+ years of financial consulting experience with at least 5 full-cycle healthcare industry implementations OR 9+ years of financial or accounting operational experience in healthcare organizations.
- Experience in Financial Management software solutions or systems such as Lawson, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
- Experience architecting Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM) and FIN Accounting solutions.
- Experience transforming an organization’s Chart of Accounts.
- Ability to connect with all levels of customer/prospect leadership.
- Passion for customer service and project management experience.
- Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
- Experience with multiple financial applications.
- Ability to balance multiple project engagements at a time.
- Comprehensive product knowledge, including a thorough understanding of product features, benefits, applications, and market positioning.
- Strong industry knowledge is essential, including staying abreast of current trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments to contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and identifying new opportunities.
- Proven solutions design skills, with the ability to analyze business challenges and develop effective solutions that leverage technology and optimize resources.
- Expertise in strategic business consulting, including market analysis, financial acumen, and strategic planning, to drive organizational growth and performance.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Contribute and help maintain healthcare standard practices to reflect new industry requirements and trends.
- Resolve client requirements through tailored Workday financial solutions.
- Demonstrate the configurations and support the customer in testing.
- Participate in updated training and other events that share one’s product and industry skills with other consultants.
- Partner with the Engagement Manager (PMO) to ensure successful project outcomes through actively participating in workstream meetings, providing status reports, and leading cross functional sessions.
- Participate in customer prospect discovery sessions.
- Mentor and aid in the career growth of other team members.
- Partner with the healthcare leadership to set internal initiatives to drive innovation and improvements in deployments.
