Requirements
- Advanced degree in Chemistry/Biology or related Life Sciences field or BS degree with 10+ years’ sales management experience within Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical API markets and customers
- Technically astute, with an ability to link industry technical challenges and unmet needs with potential Entegris solutions by partnering with internal R&D teams to drive effective new product launches
- Strong technical presentation skills with demonstrated experience representing a company at industry technical symposiums or trade show events via white paper or poster sessions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities as well as promote differentiated technical solutions with confidence
- Ability to effectively communicate with global business unit and sales team members
- Strong track record of securing or supporting market share growth as a sales or applications leader with strong problem solving, negotiation, and management skills
- Ability to help build, promote, and foster Entegris brand image as a trusted solutions provider in the Oligonucleotide/ RNA Therapeutics market
- Entrepreneurial, self-starting, strategic thinker with demonstrated track record of success in the development and execution of advanced value selling and marketing strategies
- Strategic thinker who can analyze and develop solutions in complex processes and/or business situations with the ability to work through ambiguity
- Demonstrates a bias for action and willing to accept accountability
- Experience working in a matrix environment and managing multiple priorities and projects with dynamic timelines to execution
- Strong fluency in English for writing/speaking/reading/listening. Ability to translate highly technical information a plus.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the development and overall ownership of commercial growth opportunities & strategies focused on advancing Entegris penetration into the RNA Therapeutics (Oligonucleotide) market
- Develop a keen understanding of market dynamics and industry technical roadmaps and utilize this knowledge to prioritize NPD efforts to ultimately gain long-term specification position for Entegris products
- Establish deep business relationships with customer’s senior management and secure access to and influence from critical customer influencers
- Build and promote Entegris brand as a trusted supplier to Oligonucleotide market by reinforcing messaging externally @ industry technical symposia, trade shows & conferences
- Foster a world-class global applications network by leveraging and sharing knowledge and information
- Work closely with SBU Account Managers to ensure opportunities lead to business closure
- Lead and collaborate with a wide variety of functional groups including Business Unit, Field Application Engineering, R&D, and Marketing to accomplish new product penetration into customers for Entegris process solutions
- Conduct regular reviews with customers to understand their needs and work with account managers to devise account penetration management plan
- Train customers and fellow colleagues on relevant process solutions knowledge and skills
- Ensure alignment between the customer and Entegris’ technology roadmap
- Demonstrate understanding and commitment to drive financial profitability, by working in concert with the respective SBUs.
