Principal Engineer Tool

Bachelor of Science in a STEM related field with 4 years of experience in engineering, design, tooling, fabrication, or manufacturing/production environment or a Masters’ Degree 3 years of experience in engineering, design, tooling, fabrication, or manufacturing/production environment
Experience standing up production assembly line or cost center
Experience utilizing Siemens NX/CATIA CAD tools or applicable 3D CAD systems
Ability to work in a high pace environment
Ability to work with minimal oversight
Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company

Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with internal and external customers.
Coordinate, develop, and execute test plans.
Perform tolerance analysis to ensure form, fit, and function.
Conduct root cause failure investigations and implement associated corrective actions.
Develop and evaluate process improvements.
Assist Product Development Team with new product designs to ensure manufacturability, validate process/technology.
Develop manufacturing processes, plans, and procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment in support of our process work instructions and visual aids of our shop planning process and other functions that affect product performance.
Manage all phases of project: design, document, fabricate, assemble and validate.
