Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
- 8 years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment or an Advanced degree and 5 years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
Responsibilities
- Outline Engineering requirements in a summary of operations for development hardware.
- Provide estimates for cost and lead time on development hardware.
- Work with both hourly and salary personnel on a variety of different projects.
- Interface with all IPT’s to ensure producibility of hardware.
- Purchase nonproduct material and tooling as necessary.
- Participate in CORE initiatives and support continuous improvement.
- Be the face of Manufacturing in discussions with Engineering.
- Program 5 axis milling machines, lathes and 3D printers.
- Travel less than 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification or CORE/Six Sigma Practitioner/professional certification.
- Experience in project engineering/planning and communication/presentation skills.
- Understanding of continuous improvement concepts.
- Demonstrated technical experience in Machining and Inspection Processes.
- Experience in NX, Teamcenter, SAP.
- Experience in Interpreting Engineering Definition and GD&T.
- Model Based Definition experience.
- Hands on experience with manufacturing and welding.
- Active Secret Clearance.
