Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data engineering, data analytics, business analytics, or related field and 2 years of experience; OR a Master’s degree and 0 years of experience for T2 level
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data engineering, data analytics, business analytics, or related field and 5 years of experience; OR a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience for T3 level
- Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Python and Django
- Experience using SQL programming and database management skills to architect, optimize and maintain SQL code for databases, tables, views, stored procedures and functions
- Experience with one or more of these database systems: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite
- Experience with Front End Web Development
- Experience with Agile Software Development
- Experience with version control in GitHub
- Experience working with ETL techniques and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning, design, development and implementation of digital workflow solutions to address ongoing business performance improvement opportunities.
- Decompose user requirements into logical functions/components.
- Develop and support data architectures, data pipelines and data management solutions.
- Data preparation/cleaning, integration, and automation from heterogeneous sources.
- Support cross-team development efforts for multiple projects, including data cleanup, ingestion, and linkage with other data sets.
- Document design, deployment and operating procedures for each work product.
- Develop impactful predictive modelling, Monte Carlo simulations and advanced analytics.
- Present data in a meaningful way (insights, visualizations) to management.
- Monitor and optimize system performance.
- Ensure data integrity and system availability.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in information technology, data science, industrial engineering, or related field
- Experience and demonstrated knowledge and application of: Lean, Six Sigma, ToC, and Scaled Agile
- Experience and familiarity with Costpoint or SAP, TipQA, Solumina/MES, PLM -Windchill
- Experience and/or training with cloud database tools, especially those in AWS and Azure
- Experience with analysis and visualization of data: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx
