Requirements
- MD or DO degree from fully-accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Residency trained in family medicine or internal medicine
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Responsibilities
- Provides full spectrum primary care
- Develops and documents a plan of care for each patient, including a complete medical history, a physical examination, diagnosis of the causes of injuries and illnesses, appropriate treatment and/or referral, and hospital visitations when necessary
- Adheres to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental and infection control standards
- Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all federal and state health information privacy laws
- Records complete, timely and legible medical records
