Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in pricing strategy, data analytics, or similar roles within SaaS, technology, or consulting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or ThoughtSpot.
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to analyse market and competitive trends and communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze pricing data, customer usage, and market trends to develop and optimize pricing models that drive revenue and align with business goals.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, packaging, and positioning to provide actionable insights that enhance market competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to refine product tiers, optimize deal structures, and develop pricing enablement tools.
  • Assess usage patterns to identify adoption trends, churn risks, and upsell opportunities, informing pricing and product improvements.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to provide leadership with key pricing insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain pricing integrity through governance frameworks, discounting guidelines, and regular audits to ensure consistency and adherence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SaaS pricing models (e.g., subscription, consumption-based) and an understanding of behavioral economics or pricing psychology (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred).
