Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle including billing/coding principles, denial management, payer contracting and credentialing, and revenue analysis
- Knowledge of risk management procedures, RAF scores, and established quality performance metrics required for top performance in delivery of Value Based Care
- Knowledgeable of Human Resources principles and ability coach staff and build cohesive teams
- Ability to work onsite during clinic hours Monday-Friday and occasional evening/weekend hours (as needed)
- Understanding of health and safety standards in the medical industry
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Responsibilities
- Oversee the practice’s professional performance metrics, patient care, and financials
- Ensure adequate staff coverage, coordinate time off, approve timesheets, participate in staff recruitment, supervision, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Plan, develop, organize, and implement clinic goals, objectives, policies and procedures
- Identify process gaps and implement improved workflows
- Establish effective communication information flow within the practice
- Monitor provider’s credentialing status in partnership with the credentialing team
- Oversee inventory and purchasing of medical and office supplies, and oversees maintenance of the facility
- Ensure services are provided in a professional manner while promoting patient satisfaction and manageable patient flow
- Coordinated with the marketing and communications team for advertising and patient engagement
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in an outpatient clinic setting
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a medical or business office setting
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Proficiency working with Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
