Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field
- Registered Dietitian credential
- Ability to obtain licensure in the state of Louisiana upon hire
Responsibilities
- Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), individual and team sport performance nutrition counseling, and life skills educational programming for teams as assigned by Director of Performance Nutrition
- Data management of performance nutrition research, NoteMeal software and sports science projects
- Assist the Director of Performance Nutrition with Performance Nutrition Department development tasks as assigned
- Supervision of 20-30 student volunteer interns and Dietetic Interns (DI)
- Management of home and away game day logistics as assigned by Director of Performance Nutrition
- Attend team’s practices, lifts, and games as assigned
- Advances and supports LSU and Athletics Department initiatives through personal participation in educational and developmental opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work extended days, weekends and holidays
- Travel may be required
