Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in power scheduling, with a focus on renewable energy assets.
3+ years of experience in managing power scheduling or real-time power trading teams.
Strong understanding of ERCOT and CAISO market structures, rules, and regulations.
Hands-on experience with PV and BESS scheduling and dispatch.
Proficiency in power scheduling software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Manage a growing team of highly skilled and motivated schedulers
Manage the day-to-day scheduling and dispatch of PV and BESS assets in the ERCOT and CAISO markets.
Develop and implement power scheduling strategies to optimize asset performance and revenue generation.
Monitor and analyze real-time market conditions, grid operations, and weather forecasts to make informed scheduling decisions.
Ensure compliance with all applicable ERCOT and CAISO market rules and regulations.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including traders, plant operators, and transmission providers.
Develop and maintain scheduling models, protocols and tools to support decision-making.
Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in power scheduling and renewable energy.
