Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with data science in a professional environment
- 3+ years of experience developing dashboards in Power BI from start to finish, including integrating multiple data sources
- Experience applying data management, data analysis, and data visualization
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and database management systems
- Ability to design multiple data visualization techniques and apply the most appropriate visualization tailored to various audiences
- Ability to present complex data findings simply and understandably to non-technical audiences
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Use business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitate the implementation of new tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and PowerApps.
- Maintain and develop Executive Dashboards in Power BI, including updating existing dashboards and serving as a workspace administrator.
- Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to data through advanced data visualization and data management practices.
- Apply analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis.
- Analyze and process data, while contributing to the development of models and report templates and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions using Power BI, SQL, and other relevant technologies.
- Recommend and implement appropriate performance measures to be produced, including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
- Provide guidance to clients and fellow team members.
- Provide business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from data processing and data analysis for manpower, logistics, and business systems and external customers across the enterprise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PEO MLB, PEO Digital, NIWC PAC, NIWC LANT, or NAVWAR
- Experience crafting custom M365 tools and capabilities, including Power Automate flows, PowerApps within M365, and ancillary services on Azure, to meet PEO MLB requirements
- Experience with specialized project management support in a Navy acquisition program or project management support with DoD agencies
- Knowledge of business processes
- Ability to align data analysis with business goals
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and multiple business stakeholders
- Ability to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and analytics
