Requirements
- PhD level in systems neuroscience
- Expertise in animal behavior tracking using deep learning algorithms
- Expertise in circuit manipulation (e.g., optogenetics, chemogenetics)
- Expertise in recording (e.g., fiberphotometry)
- Experience in computer programming (e.g., Matlab, Python)
- Experience in neuroinformatics
- Experience with advanced microscopy tools
Responsibilities
- Establish cellular cell type architecture maps of mammalian brains using mice as an animal model
- Understand brain cell type and vascular architecture and its changes in brain disorders
- Elucidate the oxytocin system and the dorsal endopiriform nucleus (EPd)
- Develop digital 3D atlases and various neuroinformatics tools
- Utilize high-resolution 3D imaging tools (e.g., light sheet fluorescent microscopy)
- Examine circuit specific function in the brain using systems neuroscience approaches (e.g., miniscope neural recording, connectivity tracing)
