Requirements
- A Ph.D in Plant Molecular Biology (molecular cloning, vector construction, genetic transformation, protein expression and purification, etc.) is required.
- Ability to multi-task, to work independently with strong work ethic and self-motivation are essential.
Responsibilities
- Design vectors and perform genetic transformation in different systems
- Assess transcript abundance and plant characterization of plant material (using different techniques e.g., microscopy, LC/MS, etc.)
- Collecting, documenting, and analyzing experimental data
- Establish and maintain experimental material/samples
- Supervise undergraduate students
- Contribute with laboratory general duties
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with experimental techniques including microscopy, LC/MS, FTIR/Raman, etc. is a plus.
